Conor (Director) comes from a background in hospitality, working in some of the best Cocktail bars and fine-dining restaurants in New Zealand and Australia.

After ten years of honing his skills and competing in competitions, it came time to branch out of the bar and help lift the standard of drinking culture in New Zealand.

Conor created The Bar Society, a premium ice company focused on setting a high standard of crystal-clear large format ice for bars and restaurants throughout NZ.
CRAFTING BIG ICE
Our cutting-edge ice machines, the Clinebells, are at the heart of our process. Infused with water purified through an extensive five-stage Carbon and UV filtration system, these machines employ directional freezing. This unique technique, maintaining constant motion, actively expels all air bubbles and impurities.
BIG ICE BLOCKS
Every 3-4 days, each machine produces a 140kg block of the purest, densest, and most transparent ice imaginable.
FINAL PRODUCT
We sculpt these colossal blocks into rocks, cubes, and spears using precision ice saws and tools perfectly tailored for your Rocks and Collins glasses.
